What’s The Role
The Salesforce DevOps Engineer is responsible for implementing scalable solutions including continuous delivery, optimization, monitoring, release management, and support the end to end release process keeping the product suites up and running. Ability to shape the tools to smoothly run our development lifecycle and automate all aspects of our software development, release, and operations lifecycle. He or She will be instrumental in the transformation of our Salesforce practice to a true Continuous Integration and Delivery model. Working closely with a multi-faceted team, covering Product, Development, QA, Security, Operations, and many others to ensure a quicker-time-to-value and quality deliverable for our business.
What You´ll Do
- Ensure all Salesforce updates made seamlessly move from development through staging to production
- Plan, design and build the Salesforce DevOps pipeline, utilizing industry DevOps tools and best practices
- Measuring the effectiveness of the Salesforce pipeline and continually looking for opportunities to optimize and automate
- Experience with Salesforce platform production deployments working in an agile methodology environment
- Experience in CI/CD Tools (Jira, Git, Sourcetree, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ant, Copado, Bamboo, Selenium, Robot Framework, DataDog, Splunk, etc.)
- Experience in Salesforce, salesforce administration.
- Environment Management Tools, Salesforce Dev Sandbox provisioning and deployments.
- Experience in Windows and Linux Scripting
- Experience working with overlapping product release cycles
- A good team player, ability to learn quickly, excellent written and spoken communication
Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
- Software development background a must.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator preferred
- 5 - 7+ years work experience in a DevOps or similar role
- Experience in managing automated CI systems and provisioning tools, such as Jenkins
- Experience working on Linux/Unix platforms.
- Build/Release experience (SFDC/Vlocity applications).
- Working with the implementation of monitoring and management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to support Development Operations in dev, test environment
- Automation experience is a must.
- Passion for troubleshooting, hardening systems and automating repetitive tasks.
- Knowledge and experience with software version control systems: Perforce, GIT (GitHub/Gitlab), et
- Familiarity with Splunk queries and reporting.
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and solution-oriented individual.

- A strong background in open source technology.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
