Architectural Historian (Full Time)

RK&K, a 1,200-employee multi-disciplinary consulting engineering and planning firm, is experiencing significant positive growth and expanding our Cultural Resource Management group. RK&K is seeking qualified candidates for an entry- or mid-level Architectural Historian position to support numerous on-going and upcoming Section 106 projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. This is a full-time position located in RK&Ks Baltimore headquarters with other Mid-Atlantic location assignments a possibility.

Requirements:

Graduate degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, or closely related field;
Understanding of federal, state, and local cultural resources regulations;
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment that includes archaeologists and environmental planners;
Strong research, technical writing, and communication skills;
Highly detail-oriented when both authoring and reviewing work;
Fluent with Microsoft Office applications; and
Acceptable driving record and ability to pass a background check.

Previous experience with Section 106 compliance document preparation, NEPA, and/or GIS are beneficial, but not required.
