SUMMARY:

The Corporate Support Specialist II (CSSII) provides operations support across the Foundation. It is a multi-faceted support position, requiring an ability to support internal and external customers, manage administrative projects and provide functional back-up to the team. Organization, dependability, communication and analytical skills are vital to this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide operations support across multiple departments
  • Records management
  • Archiving projects
  • Expenses
  • Review and distribute incoming emails and faxes
  • Coordinate meetings through scheduling, room reservations, and materials preparation
  • Maintenance and organization of office area
  • Supplies and equipment management
  • Utilize office technology and equipment
  • Act as primary backup for key facilities, safety, and HR functions
  • Utilize verbal and written skills to produce, edit and contribute to documentation and communication
  • Learn and utilize systems and tools to contribute to department projects
  • Perform other office duties in support of Foundation departments and staff as assigned by the Director of Operations

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide Operations Team cross-coverage
  • Contribute to the training and education of partners and staff
  • Participate in ongoing training, education and staff meetings
  • Perform other duties as assigned

COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Knowledge of or ability to learn basic accounting principles and mechanics required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to proofread documents
  • Self-directed
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and effective organizational skills
  • Dependable
  • Ability to learn and utilize industry practices to perform operation duties
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment
  • Able to improvise, multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while maintaining composure
  • College degree and 2-4 years of experience in a similar position preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of Adobe Acrobat

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • This job is conducted in an office workenvironment, sitting most of the time
  • Approximately 90% of this position's duties require use of a computer
  • Must be able to exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally
  • Minimal travel may be required

Compensation: $21.50/Hour
