Receptionist -Bi-Lingual/Shared Services Assistant  (Full Time)

During non Covid times, this highly-visible receptionist portion of the job is responsible for meeting and greeting visitors; answering, prioritizing and directing calls on a multi-line phone system; providing information; accepting payments; maintaining a visitor log book and issuing visitor badges. During the Covid pandemic this position will be required to work part time in the office performing administrative duties and part time from home.Additional duties include assisting other team members with imaging important documents related to our business; assembling policy-related documents; mail processing; and paying claim-related bills. The successful incumbent will not only perform these duties efficiently, but will represent Beacon in a highly professional, exceptionally friendly manner. The ideal candidate will work easily in a fast paced environment while maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the receptionist lobby at Beacon Mutual Insurance.

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior receptionist experience. Must be fluent in English and Spanish. Knowledge of common Windows-based computer programs such as Word and Excel. Must have sound judgment and discretionary skills and be able to work with little or no supervision. Also required are superior communicationand interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with diverse personalities.
