HR Analyst

This position is a vital part of the Beacons HR teams ongoing efforts to support the employees of Beacon by providing accurate and confidential HR services.

Position Responsibilities

As part of our professional, valued HR team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities related to Beacons HRIS system, including generating payroll, maintaining controls and security, and producing routine reports and back up data. In addition, you will coordinate and oversee the administrative aspects of Beacons Leave of Absence and Retirement Programs.

Department Support Responsibilities

This is a highly collaborative position with HR team members and requires considerable interaction with all Beacon employees, including the Senior Leadership Team. As such, you will provide support, information, and updates to team members or employees as it relates to payroll, the 401(k) and health and welfare programs.

In addition to generating biweekly payrolls, you will assist with the design of highly-complex business processes in systems configuration activities including building, testing, validation, and documentation of system changes. You will also assist in identification of opportunities for implementation of new features or features not currently in use, make recommendations and work with end-users to implement features or changes to improve efficiencies.

You will create and run various Cognos Analytics Business Intelligence reports from scratch in support of both Human Resources and Finance.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelors Degree and at least 2 years of related experience preferred. Experience working in a human resources office, or in a role with relevant experience related to systems or payroll, ideally Ultipro and Cognos. Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and effectively, required. PHR and/or CPP designation helpful.
