Internal Audit Internship  (Intern)
Location: Warwick, RI

An opportunity exists for a conscientious, motivated junior or senior to assist the Internal Audit Manager at Beacon Mutual Insurance. This is a hands-on position with close supervision and significant learning potential. Responsibilities include attending key meetings and documenting the results, writing process narratives and flowcharts, testing detailed controls, communicating results and work status, and performing other administrative tasks. The successful candidate will be pursuing a degree in finance, accounting, auditing or related field and should have significant course work in accounting, audit, or finance with a strong interest in a future accounting or auditing profession. Strong writing and verbal communication skills, as well as proficiency in using MS Office applications and other technology are strongly desired.

This is a paid Internship which will be part-time (10 - 15 hrs/wk). Position will start in March or April of 2020. A commitment at least through August 2020 is required. Availability to work additional hours during school breaks is available.
