Claims Adjuster/Claims Representative  (Full Time)
Location: Warwick, RI

Beacon Mutual Insurance is seeking an experienced, self motivated Claims Adjuster to join our team of Claims professionals. This position will manage lost time claims with low to moderate exposure and/or complexity by investigating losses, determining compensability, evaluating and mitigating exposure, and participating in legal processes.

Requires an individual with knowledge of claims management, including investigating, recording, reserving, negotiating, and delivering case value and resolution of claims. Experience and exposure to adjusting claims on litigated and non-litigated claims with low to moderate exposure.

Ability to balance multiple priorities and work with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment to resolve claims and mitigate exposure. Excellent communication skills are necessary to negotiate settlements, conduct investigations and deal effectively in a customer service and results oriented environment.

Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience with establishing appropriate action plans and reserves; settlements and utilization of appropriate resources to mitigate exposure. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Workers Compensation Claims Management experience highly desirable. RI Adjusters License required or willingness to obtain RI Adjusters License.
