Associate Claim Representative - Med Only  (Full Time)
Location: Warwick, RI

The Associate Claims Representative oversees medical only and closed period lost time claims of low exposure. This position will work closely with one of our largest clients to investigate losses, determine compensability, evaluate exposure and/or possible subrogation, and manage loss and expense costs. Evaluates claim for purposes of setting reserves and making appropriate payments. This individual will be naturally interested in understanding the whole picture by gathering information from all parties and will work diligently to communicate with all appropriate parties to move the claim toward resolution in a fair, equitable and timely manner that is consistent with our clients and our internal expectations. Prepares case file documentation on all activity to support the outcome of the claim file. Maintains positive relationships and creates high level of satisfaction with our client.

Required:

High school diploma with minimum of one year related experience or equivalent college and employment experience. RI Adjusters license or willingness to obtain adjusters license within 3 months. Must demonstrate strong analytical and investigative skills in order to make decisions and resolve issues inherent in handling claims. Able to plan and organize activities and workload and respond to multiple demands without becoming overwhelmed.
