Performing Arts Manager

Nelson Hall at Elim Park is a premiere Center for the Performing Arts in a faith based, not -for-profit, Life Plan Retirement Community in Cheshire Connecticut. This position is an exceptional opportunity for a servant leader who brings the tools needed for success as a Performing Arts Director. Opportunities include scheduling musical, dance and theatrical performances. Seeking a professional who will partner with our marketing team to promote these performances. Continue the success of EPTV (Elim Parksin-house television station) and inspire both the residents of Elim Park and the greater Cheshire community to enjoy and be part of Performing Arts.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1) Greet Customers in person and on the phone.

2) Monitor show attendance and box office sales.

3) Assist with online marketing efforts, community calendars, blogs, emails and various social media.

4) Assist with creating press releases, posters, gift baskets, and other promotional activities related to marketing Nelson Hall events.

5) Provide Box Office coverage for scheduled Nelson Hall Events.

6) May be required to work some nights and weekends depending on show schedules.

7) Create events and prepare assignments for event times.

8) Balance and secure cash box at the end of the shift.

9) Any other duties deemed necessary for the running of Nelson Hall.
