Location: Cheshire
Full Time, Exempt Position
Responsibilities
Serve as full-time Chaplain/Director of Christian Ministries of a retirement community as well as provide leadership to a team of Resident Chaplains with the goal of creating an environment of spiritual growth for residents and staff.
Education and/or Experience
- Advanced degree (minimum Masters) from an accredited theological institution
- Person of prayer and strong faith who subscribes to the affirmation of faith of Converge (a.k.a. Baptist General Conference)
- Exhibits good morals and Godly character
- Gerontology background/education/experience is preferred
- Previous Pastoral or Chaplaincy experience preferred
- Gifted in administration and preaching
- A zeal for souls
- Counseling experience preferred
