Development Specialist  (Full Time 1st shift)
Location: Milwaukee, WI (corporate headquarters) (53224)

We seek a behind-the-scenes master multi-tasker who thrives on tight deadlines and self-direction. This positions schedule is: Monday 9:30am-6pm, Tuesday 9:30-6pm, Wednesday 8:30am-4pm, Thursday 9:30am-6pm and Friday 8am-4:30pm.

Horizon sponsors invaluable programs such as Meals on Wheels for Milwaukee's homebound, Health Care for the Working Poor, and our uniquely free Grief Recourse Center where anyone dealing with grief/loss can seek help from a Licensed Professional Counselor, therefore we are looking for a Specialist who can help keep these programs running smoothly.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma, Associates preferred. One to two years of fundraising experience required. . This individual MUST be computer proficient, specifically a black belt in Excel! If you don't know mail merges and applying formulas, you will not thrive in this role. Furthermore, you will regularly input data into McKesson, DonorPerfect, Word, etc. Must be detail-oriented and able to accurately reconcile monthly bills and track donations in a timely manner.
