Medical Records Admission/Release of Information Specialist (Full Time 1st shift)
Location: Milwaukee, WI (corporate headquarters) (53224)

Horizon Home Care & Hospice is seeking a detail-oriented, customer service-focused Medical Records Specialist. If you are passionate about people and passionate about the world of behind-the-scenes health care this is the position for you.

This multi-tasking master must be a pro at meeting deadlines and art of the follow-up. Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills are imperative.

Primary responsibilities include:

Maintains a Medical Record for all Agency clients that assures compliance with all State and Federal regulations
Meets all current confidentiality standards.
Acts as a customer service representative for all office staff, field staff and for outside customers that require access to the information maintained in the Medical Record.
Receives, reviews and processes all release of information requests.
