Volunteer Coordinator  (Full Time 1st shift)

Want to play an integral part in ensuring our volunteer program remains vibrant and continues to grow and support our mission and vision? If so, we have an immediate opening for a full-time Volunteer Coordinator.

We seek a dynamic professional with the ability to support and assist our Volunteer Supervisor in creatively recruiting and retaining a diverse volunteer team. This individual will coordinate schedules for our volunteers in a variety of roles, including our Grief Resource Center, Hospice program, and Meals on Wheels. In addition the Volunteer Coordinator cares about people and enjoys evolving relationships, is highly organized and adaptable and can communicate effectively and appropriately with various audiences. This multi-tasking master will also be integral in the vetting of incoming volunteers, assisting in the volunteer orientation process, and managing the day-to-day clerical functions of the Volunteer Department. Qualifications include a High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree (preferably in Communications, Marketing, or Business) strongly preferred plus 1-2 yrs of work experience. Previous volunteer coordination and/or PR/office experience preferred as well. Microsoft Office proficiency required. Must also have a valid WI driver's license and proof of current auto insurance.
