Horizon, located in Milwaukee, WI, a leading not-for-profit health care organization (550+ employees) is seeking a savvy, experienced IT Director to join our growing family.

The IT Director is responsible for the management, strategy and execution of Horizon's IT infrastructure. This includes oversight of all technical projects to ensure alignment with organizational goals and collaboration with agency leaders in project management. The IT Director will be responsible for developing metrics and ensuring strategic capacity planning, developing and implementing IT related policies and procedures, managing the agency's help desk operations, oversight of network/user environment, directories and security. Ensuring appropriate user training and usage and responding appropriately to user access/usage concerns and issues. The role will also research and evaluate new technologies and works collaborative with agency leadership to develop and execute system solutions consistent with our agency's objectives and goals.

While we are seeking a technical guru that can take our IT Department to the next level, we also seek an individual that has exceptional customer service skills and the ability to interact with employees of all levels and with varying technical proficiency.

Minimum requirements for this role include a Bachelors degree in computer related field, 5+ years of IT experience with 3-4 years of supervisory/management experience. MCSE or Certified Network Engineer preferred. Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office, familiarity with HRIS systems . Some local travel occasionally required so must have valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
