[Wastewater] Staff Engineer  (Full Time)
Location: Melville, NY

H2M Architects + Engineers, a multidiscipline architectural, engineering, and environmental consulting firm in Melville, NY seeks an entry-level Staff Engineer to join our Wastewater Engineering team.

Job Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of Senior Engineers and Project Managers, this candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing design, computations, and evaluations associated with wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, force mains, gravity sewers, and low pressure sewer systems.
• Performing project administration including writing reports, gathering information, drafting correspondence, tracking project costs, and preparing progress reports.
• Client interaction
• Teamwork with other disciplines.

Education and Qualifications:

• At least a Bachelors Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or closely related discipline
• 0 -3 years of design experience.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD. Knowledge in Civil 3D, ReVit and BIM a plus.
• Experience with GIS a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.
• FE/EIT
