Cook - Round Relief (Full Time)
Location: Kennett Square, PA
Kendal~Crosslands Communities, a continuing care retirement community located in Kennett Square, PA has a FT position for a Round Relief Cook in our Crosslands Culinary Services Department. Crosslands is located at 1660 E. Street Road (Route #926). This position is 80 hours per pay. The hours vary based on the need as this position covers all positions in the kitchen. The position is every other holiday and covers most weekends for all open shifts.
Essential Function: Prepares meals and achieves culinary services objectives by implementing menus; controlling food preparation and sanitation in the Culinary Services Department. Provides relief coverage in the production and utility positions. Must be able to assume the duties and responsibilities of any kitchen position as dictated by schedule.
Qualifications & Experience: Must have excellent communication skills; both written and verbal. Must be able to read, extend, and properly utilize recipes. Must be flexible to work various positions. Must be able to work evenings and most weekends. Must have 2 years cooking experience.
