ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES WORKER - PER DIEM (On-Call)

Per Diem. On call; varied hours on weekdays, weekends and holidays. Previous cleaning experience helpful but not required. Adequate mathematical, reading and writing skills and the ability to comprehend oral instructions; detail oriented; capable of learning the required methods of cleaning used at Kendal; able to work alone or with others; able to work productively without close supervision. Flexible availability as needed by department and able to work any weekends and holidays. Ability to have outstanding customer service skills with residents and family. Ability to be a team player and work well with other members of Environmental Services Department. Outstanding time management and attendance required. Maintain building interior by performing cleaning tasks in assigned areas dusting, vacuuming carpets, cleaning spots from walls and carpets, mopping floors, cleaning windows, bathrooms, tile and fixtures in bath, drapes, blinds, curtains, walls, ceilings, vents, refilling soaps, paper towels, toilet paper and cup dispensers, etc. Trash and recycle removal. Maintain outstanding cleanliness of all assigned areas.Ability to perform laundry duties including operating cleaning equipment such as washer/dryer machines, labeling machines and ironing.
