Human Resources Director - Lathrop Communities (Full Time)

Lathrop Community, Inc., a nonprofit organization providing retirement living at two locations, Northampton and Easthampton, Massachusetts, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional. As a member of the leadership team, the HR Director partners with the executive director and department managers to create a productive, quality work environment, and achieve short-term and long-term goals that meet the needs of the organization while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Director is responsible for compensation planning, benefits administration, recruiting, performance management, employee relations, and leading the day-to-day human resources operations. The HR Director is also responsible for working with the management team to identify, develop, and implement education and training programs for staff.
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree plus a minimum of 5 years' experience as a human resources manager or director required. Masters degree and SHRM certification preferred. Candidate must have an extensive working knowledge of federal, state and local labor rules and regulations.Must be a collaborative, dynamic and energetic individual focused on being a superior coach, mentor, advocate, and steward of the organizations human resources. Candidate must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
