HR Assistant (Temporary or Seasonal)
Job Type: Administration
This 2-3 month temporary positions primary duty is to provide support in most areas of human resources including recruiting, compensation, staffing and training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain employee personnel files
Provide clerical and technical support in recruiting and hiring
Inputs applicant data into HRIS
Perform candidate background checks
Coordinates pre-employment drug testing
Reconciles bills related to drug testing and background checks
Prepares materials for New Hire Orientation
Participates in new hire orientation training and facilitates paperwork completion
Screens and submits requested unemployment information to vendor to expedite claims process
Administer STARRbucks reward and recognition program
Generates documentation and reports as needed
Responds to employment verification requests
Assist in company events
Contributes to Employee Newsletter
Completes other duties/tasks as assigned
