The Summer Associate role is open to current first year MBA students that are on track to graduate in the spring of 2019. Specifically, AV&Co. is seeking:
Passionate problem solvers with analytical minds and strong communication
Strong quantitative backgrounds with proven experience building excel-based financial and operational models and tools
Sound business intuition regarding key considerations and drivers of performance
Adept at breaking down complex problems into structured, manageable concepts and approaches while maintaining an attention to detail
Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts via verbal, written, and visual means in a manner that is easily digestible by senior / executive audiences

As a Summer Associate at AV&Co, you will be exposed to the full breadth of consultant responsibilities. The summer program will run from June August in the Boston, MA and San Francisco, CA offices. Over the course of the program, you will receive both formal and on-the-job training, be staffed on actual client projects, and gain a robust understanding of the AV&Co. experience and the consultant role:
Guide day-to-day activities of one or more project workstreams, typically owning a module while also managing teams of analysts across a variety of activities including:
Assume key role with clients as day-to-day contact, ensuring we are providing innovative, actionable solutions to their most critical problems
Lead deck development as well as presentation of key findings and recommendations to client team
Support business development efforts, honing content specific expertise and fostering client relationships
