We are seeking a highly organized individual with solid time management skills who enjoys helping individuals with developmental disabilities succeed in obtaining employment. Full-Time position available with great benefits package and low-cost health coverage.
Qualifications:
- Min. H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Valid NYS driver’s license for a minimum of 2 years required
- 1 year experience with the developmentally disabled population preferred
- Criminal and background checks conducted
Responsibilties Include:
- Assist adults with developmental disabilities in creating and maintaining professional resumes and employment applications.
- Coaching the people supported by The Arc of Orange on interview techniques and professionalism.
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with local businesses that provide employment opportunities to the people supported by the agency.
- Transporting the people supported to employment opportunities.
- Coaching the people supported who obtain employment on how to complete their job responsibilities.
