CCBHC COMMUNITY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH LIAISON  (Full Time)
Location: Various - Rhode Island

Community Care Alliance ( CCA) is seeking a Community Behavioral Health Liaison. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a newly developed program with CCA. The primary role of the liaison is to provide education and information to community health providers, local law enforcement/EMS and other organizations regarding accessing our 24/7 mobile crisis program and other CCA programs.

The liaison will work directly with the manager of our mobile crisis program manager to introduce the community to our new programs through outreach and engagement both via telephone and in person

The liaison will take the lead in outreaching organizations and individuals in the community who are hard to engage, unhoused, with health disparities, under- resourced, persons of color etc.

The liaison will be the point person for attendance at CCA and community meetings as well as represent CCA at relevant state meetings with the Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals.

The liaison will develop and lead a client advisory board with CCA staff and community stakeholders as well as serve as the point person for interacting with veterans and active duty service members.

Other responsibilities include data collection and reporting on activity related to care coordination in collaboration with CCA internal team.

Education Requirements/Qualifications:

Minimum of a bachelors degree, and knowledge/experience related to human services/behavioral health, exceptional public speaking and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft, Excel etc, driver's license and reliable transportation, ability to gather and analyze data. Ideal candidate will have a good understanding of military culture.
