Retail Textiles/Apparel Shift Supervisor

Status: Full-time
Must have open/flexible availability Mon-Sun
Pay: $9.50 / hr
We Pay for Performance
Possibility of a pay increase to $10.00/hr
Upon solid performance review rating at the 90 day performance evaluation

Position Overview
You will work with a team of retail and operations professionals and help ensure we make the best use of our resources to help achieve our mission. We prefer you are a team player, professional who is willing to "roll up the sleeves!" 

Responsibilities(include but not limited to):
· Lead and assist associates in the following areas: textiles/clothing, bin goods, linens, etc; creating schedules, assigning breaks, setting goals, and other supervisory responsibilities as required.
· Assist Department Supervisor with overseeing the store front displays, racks and rounders to assure organization according to department, color and size.
· Ensure a neat and orderly appearance of the store's textile/clothing departments, assuring things are hung picked up and eye catching.
· Keep up with seasonal trends and changes, dress mannequins/displays, ensure dressing room and isles are kept clean and shopable.
· Ensure that daily production goals are being met, items being placed on the sales floor are in resaleable condition, priced to sale according to our guidelines, tagged/sized appropriately and placed on the sales floor according to store's guidelines.
· Give direction as well as constructive feedback to employees while delegating tasks.
· Assist in opening/closing store front as required following appropriate procedures.
· Act as Manager-on-Duty as necessary, being able to make decisions and have final say.
· Meet production and sales goals for the day, and empower associates to meet their daily/work goals.
· Supervisor the sales and textile production floor areas assisting with clean-up, dressing rooms, jewelry counter as needed, as well as assign associates to assist in these areas as needed.
· Return/restock items as necessary assisting customers with purchases and price checks.
· Providing excellent Customer Service, assisting with difficult customers, price checks, or product inquiries.

*Previous supervisory experience preferred, to include scheduling, goal setting, task delegation, etc.

*Communicate effectively with managers, supervisors and other associates.*
