Perform supplementary cleaning on GBTA vehicles.
Accountability:
Maintenance Foreman.
Position Requirements:
- Performs thorough cleanings of GBTA buses, mini-vans, and/or support vehicles that is secondary and supplementary to the servicelane attendant cleaning function.
- A cleaning consists of a comprehensive scrub of all interior surfaces of a vehicle including floors, seats, dashboards, windows and window ledges, walls, roof, and all other areas not normally cleaned in a routine servicing by the servicelane attendant.
- A cleaning of exterior surfaces such as windows, wheels, mirrors residue from bus wash. Any graffiti, stickers or oily or sticky residue such as tar.
- Assist the Maintenance Department in the improvement of the existing Bus Cleanliness Program by advising or suggesting alternate methods, chemicals, tools, etc. to perform deep cleaning functions.
- Advise the Maintenance Department of any repairs needed to correct damage caused by vandalism or wear-out, such as body damage, graffiti, seat cushion damage, advertisement etc.
- Generate and/or complete records of deep cleaning activities.
Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED or Trade School Diploma. Two to five years experience in Automotive Detailing preferred.
