Hopwa - Personal Care Assistant (PCA) PRN
Apelah, Inc. is currently seeking a Personal Care Assistant for its in-home personal support program. Personal Care Assistants must have a valid TN/MS driver's license, proof of automobile insurance, and a reliable automobile. The Personal care Assistant will service clients in DeSoto County and neighboring Marshall County. Applicants must pass a criminal background check and abuse registries check. Experience with providing personal support services required. This includes bathing, dressing, cooking, running errands, etc. Assisting with supporting employment, budgeting, and family needs.
This is a PRN position with a flexible schedule that may include some late evenings and weekends. This position requires working with our HOPWA clients and family members living with them with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (HIV) or related diseases. High school diploma or GED is required.
