Weekend Payroll Clerk  (Full Time)

This is a Full Time Position Thursday through Monday.

Summary: The payroll assistant performs various payroll processing duties including data entry, reconciling, updating information and other accounting duties as assigned.

Essential Duties

Enter new hires in Microsoft Dynamics NAV payroll software and TCP, update transfers and new hires.

Check payroll emails and voice mails; respond to employees, save payroll documents.

Maintain and update employee Information in Mas100/review the H.R.I.S. changes from COSs such as pre-note returns, supervisor/manager access to employees and create new TCP manager accounts when needed.

Enter payroll deductions, incentives, bi-weekly.

Assist in processing bi-weekly payroll. Review forms and update employee information for direct deposits and tax withholding changes. Direct deposit review when needed.

Stuff payroll checks and delivery to employee or mail and create check sign sheet.

Generate list for 401k (new hires, terms and rehires).

Add non-SCA LOAs to spreadsheet. Turn off/on accruals in TCP.

WOTC reports as received.

Review time for TCP daily/weekly and send emails to supervisors and managers for corrections.

Load new hires into the Social Security system to verify employee name and Social Security Number.

Skills: This position requires personal computer skills and proficient knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Word.

Competencies: This position requires the ability to maintain confidential information. Employee must possess tact, above average communication skills, ability to work effectively with both employees and managers.

Education/Experience: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent and/or two years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
