Restorative Nurse Coordinator (Part Time)
Location: Dayton
Part-time (24 hours/week): Position serves as a resource and role model for assigned Restorative Nurse Aides (RNA) which includes personnel and operations management. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the restorative nursing care for a caseload of residents. Coordinates and supervises the restorative nursing care delivered by the RNAs under his/her supervision. Assists in managing the Minimum Data Set (MDS) process as assigned by the MDS Facility Coordinator. Reports to the MDS Facility Coordinator and keeps him/her informed of resident/family/personnel issues. Adheres to the Ohio Board of Nursing Standards of Practice. Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing and possess current Ohio practical nurse licensure. CPR certification is required. One (1) year of long-term care experience is preferred; restorative and MDS experience preferred.
