Training Specialist

Training Specialist (Full Time)
Location: Dayton

Full-time: Responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training and educational programs to support organizational goals and identified training needs of our staff. The position will be based at our Centerville, Ohio corporate location but will also deliver programs at our Springdale, Ohio location.

Responsibilities include:

Conduct and assist with the analysis of the educational/training needs assessment
Evaluate the effectiveness of training and transfer of learning
Promote and provide excellent customer service
Identify and implement process improvements

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Education or related discipline
At least 3 years experience in a training or education position
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent oral and written skills
Basic skills in word processing, data entry, excel or equivalent programs
Proficient in Power Point or similar software for design of training materials
Experience in the care or services to the aged, developmentally disabled individuals or physically disabled individuals preferred
