Full or Part Time Cook/Chef  (Full-, Part-Time, or Casual)

Shift: • AM Shift (7a-3p or 6a-2p)   • Other, See Hours   
Hours: 5a-1p or 10a-6p including EOW
Salary Range: $18-22/hr+

Our Cooks bring warmth and comfort to our seniors by preparing homemade meals and desserts from scratch, ensuring our residents enjoy nutritious and delicious dining experiences every day.  We are always looking for talented, dependable, and passionate individuals who take pride in their craft to join our valued culinary team.

Shift: • Full Time AM Shift (7a-3p or 6a-2p) including Every Other Weekend • Part Time 5a-1p or 10a-6p including Every Other Weekend

Salary Range: $18-22/hr + Based on Experience

Cook responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Promoting the comfort, privacy and dignity of each resident by providing customized, nutritious and appealing meals in a homelike environment
• Demonstrating warmth, compassion and patience by socializing with the residents while in the dining room
• Ensuring kitchen and food safety
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and dining room

What qualifications are we looking for in Cooks?

• General knowledge of cooking techniques, portion control and nutrition
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Support up to 100 pounds
• A caring heart that truly shines when helping others!
