Quality & Clinical Outcomes Supervisor  (Full Time)

The Quality & Clinical Outcomes Supervisoris responsible for all aspects of assigned department activities; collaborates with leadership, departments and physicians on behalf of improving care to the patients served by the unit. The Supervisor develops, maintains and monitors clinical standards, participates in other assigned duties and meets organizational performance standards. The Supervisor promotes and maintains the Quality Assessment Performance Improvement program. The Supervisor maintains oversight to the Regulatory responsibilities and Accreditation activities, organization wide. This position requires a customer-service oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills. Independent decision making is expected in the execution of all duties. Functions as an integral part of the leadership team and participates in other assigned duties to meet organizational performance standards. This position reports to the Executive Director of Clinical Outcomes. This position is hourly, non-exempt.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing is desired.
  • Greater than 2 years clinical and/or management experience preferred.
  • Three to five years of hospital experience in Quality Managment or related field, is preferred.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Knowledge of quality management, performance and process improvement management required.

Licensure, registration, or certification:

  • Must have proof of maintenance of current Nursing licensure in the state of Kansas or Multi-State license.
  • BLS certified.
  • Specialty certification strongly encouraged within 2 years of accepting position.
