OR Registered Nurse Coordinator (Ortho/Spine)  (Full Time)

The Nursing Coordinator is responsible for program development, planning, organizing, implementation and evaluation of objectives, outcomes and goals in collaboration with the medical staff and hospital leadership. Work closely with physicians within specialty to understand their needs and coordinate those needs judiciously. Serve as a resource for your specialty with education and reasoning best practices to implement in in the operating room. Provide input in budget planning.

This position reports to the Unit Manager.

This position is hourly (non-exempt)

Qualification:

Education and experience:

• Must be a graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited School of Nursing.
• 2 years' operating room experience preferred.

Licensure, registration or certification:

• Proof of active Kansas Nursing License
• CPR/BLS required
• ACLS required
