General Definition of Work

Performs work establishing relationships with, and providing support and services to, residents looking to obtain self-sufficiency by means of employment, and other work as apparent or assigned.

This position reports to Jobs Plus Program Manager.

PAY: $12.00 - $16.55 PER HOUR

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma, GED, or the ability and willingness to obtain one within 12 months of hire date.Some volunteer experience involving public contact. Any combination of experience and/or training which would afford the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities that meet the requisites for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

Active participant in the Jobs Plus Program. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Word.

Special Qualifications

Valid state identification or drivers license in the Commonwealth of Virginia. To comply with Federal funding requirements, applicants must be tenants or immediate family members who reside at either Jamestown Place or Indian Rock Village.

Sensory requirements include standard vision requirements, ability to express ideas and standard hearing requirements.
