Drop Ship Analyst  (Full Time)
Location: Shreveport, LA

The Drop-Ship Analyst position is primarily an administrative position responsible for performing an array of duties such as the processing and auditing of all Drop-Ship invoices that are received daily from manufacturers and suppliers. This role will also collaborate with other Purchasing staff to maintain accurate manufacturer and supplier information as well as item pricing and addition of items as needed for the processing of invoices

 

This position is located on-site at our home office in Shreveport, Louisiana.

 

Daily responsibilities:

·         Audit each invoice for delivery accuracy and pricing accuracy which includes contract pricing.

·         Utilize understanding of product offerings to quickly decipher invoice discrepancies and savings opportunities.

·         Correct inaccurate invoices and resubmit them to manufacturer or suppliers.

·         Balance against the general ledgers at the end of day to ensure accuracy.

·         Meet requested customer and internal deadlines while ensuring all issues are addressed and resolved.

·         Communicate effectively throughout requests to customers as well as internal departments.

·         Ability to work on multiple requests simultaneously by prioritizing important milestones within each request.

·         Pull detailed invoicing reports to use for analysis and summarize conclusions.

 

Critical Skills:

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Experience in pharmaceutical product knowledge preferred

·         Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel – Pivots, VLOOKUPs, Word etc.)

·         Experience working cross functionally across multiple departments and stakeholders

 

Additional Skills

·         Previous accounts payable/receivable experience

·         Pharmaceutical or other healthcare industry experience

·         Manage multiple projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management, and problem solving

·         Ability to work independently

·         Strong analytical and data analysis ability

·         AS400 knowledge and experience

 

Experience:

·         4- year college degree preferred

·         Combination of education and experience desired
