Senior Geologist  (Full Time)
Location: Beckley - West Virginia

Senior Geologist Position at Coronado (in Beckley area focusing on Buchanan Mine)

-          At least 5 years experienced geologist familiar with Longwall mining

-          Knowledgeable in mine planning and geotechnical and geologic modeling (MineData/MineScape/MicroStation/Carlson and/or similar software packages), including database use (DHDB)

-          Plan and coordinate exploration projects for active operations and development projects

-          Willing to perform both underground and surface mine job related tasks and responsibilities

-          Proficient with coal quality information and geological interpretation including potential hazard analysis (geology, seismic and gas related)

-          Ability to work closely with engineering and operations management and model auditing to track performance and quality

-          Knowledge of environmental and MSHA regulations

-          Degree in Geology or Geoscience related field
