WB Warehousing and Logistics, Inc. began its operations in the early 1990’s with its first location in West Bend, Wisconsin. The company has been on a growth pathway since inception. Yard horse operator  (Full Time)
Location: Horicon, WI 53032

We are currently accepting applications for aYard Horse.This is a full-time, regular position for someone looking to jumpstart their career. We are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, good attendance record, and a great attitude.

Job Duties:

• Moves trailers in a safe and accurate manner.
• Operates various tractor-trailer combinations within the yard and between company holdings.
• Washes trailers and prepares them for use.
• Updates inventory/yard check sheets with tractor-trailer numbers and maintains appropriate communication with management and staff members.
• Verifies daily preventative maintenance of tractors, daily vehicle inspection reports, and schedules.
• Ensures compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Must work safely and insure all safety requirements are met.
• Performs safety inspections of the yard horse and trailer according to DOT regulations.

Job Requirements:

• 1-year experience as a yard horse or 2 years tractor trailer experience required.
• Must be able to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical requirement.
• Safe driving record; No DUI, DWI, or impaired driving in the last 7 years, No more than 3 points on driving record at the time of hire.
• Must be available to work overtime and weekends.
• Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.

Required Skills, Abilities and/or Licensure

• Good communication skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced transportation environment.
• Ability to proficiently communicate both verbally and in written form.
