By 1995, there were two locations in West Bend, Wisconsin and one in New Jersey. In 2010, it saw the addition of two locations in California. Today, the company consists of 12 buildings with 2.5 million square feet of space.

The company provides Third Party Logistics services to a wide variety of customers, including food producers and durable goods manufacturers. The customer base includes many companies on the Fortune 500 list.  Services we provide to our customers include:  port drayage and devanning, container freight station, export services, case picking, labeling, long and short term storage, unloading/loading of rail cars, food packaging, reverse logistics, service parts processing and shipping, shipping and receiving.

1st Shift Warehouse Team Lead  (Full Time)
Location: West Bend, WI 53090

WB Warehouseis looking for an engaged Warehouse Lead to manage and direct daily operations on their shift. The Warehouse Leads responsibilities include directing shift employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring quality customer service, and preparing relevant documentation.

To be successful as a Warehouse Lead you should be experienced in optimizing warehousing processes and be an effective team leader. An outstanding Warehouse Lead should be dependable and have excellent organizational and time management skills.

Warehouse Lead Responsibilities:

  • Direct warehouse workers in daily operations, to include but not limited to picking, loading, unloading, placement, and repack.
  • Monitor and prioritize workflow.
  • Shift change communication to Manager and following Lead.
  • Opening and closing warehouse procedures, following safety protocol.
  • Manage workforce on shift to ensure all employees are meeting efficiency goals.
  • Train staff on warehouse processes and procedures to ensure they understand and complete tasks assigned to them.
  • Coaching staff on proper procedures.
  • Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
  • Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
  • Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
  • Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Communicating and coordinating with other departments and customers.

Warehouse Lead Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous warehouse experience required; leadership experience is a plus.
  • Forklift experience required.
  • Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
  • Natural leader.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous SAP experience is a plus.
  • Problem-solving skills.
