By 1995, there were two locations in West Bend, Wisconsin and one in New Jersey. In 2010, it saw the addition of two locations in California. Today, the company consists of 12 buildings with 2.5 million square feet of space.

The company provides Third Party Logistics services to a wide variety of customers, including food producers and durable goods manufacturers. The customer base includes many companies on the Fortune 500 list.  Services we provide to our customers include:  port drayage and devanning, container freight station, export services, case picking, labeling, long and short term storage, unloading/loading of rail cars, food packaging, reverse logistics, service parts processing and shipping, shipping and receiving.

Warehouse Manager  (Full Time)
Location: Germantown, WI 53076

WB Warehouse is looking for an effective Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with companys policies and vision
  • Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiencies. Administer ISO required SOP development and maintenance thereof. Update training records to document employee training statuses, promotions, and advancements.
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
  • Assist in leading the cycle count program.
  • Prepare annual budget.
  • Develop and manage 35-year logistics strategy to ensure readiness for growth, changes in the business and readiness for required capacity across multiple business units.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
  • Plan work rotis, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
  • Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees.
  • Maintain good working relations between associates. Use shift leads to drive productivity and change management initiatives.
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.)
  • Compile and report the distribution facility KPIs. Use data to support key initiatives and continuous improvement priorities.
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
  • Additional facility management responsibilities as well.

Skills

  • Proven work experience as a warehouse manager within the manufacturing sector and familiar with ISO 9000 family standards.
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases to include -SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics
  • Leadership skills and ability manage staff.
  • Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
