Today, the company consists of 12 buildings with 2.5 million square feet of space.

The company provides Third Party Logistics services to a wide variety of customers, including food producers and durable goods manufacturers. The customer base includes many companies on the Fortune 500 list.  Services we provide to our customers include:  port drayage and devanning, container freight station, export services, case picking, labeling, long and short term storage, unloading/loading of rail cars, food packaging, reverse logistics, service parts processing and shipping, shipping and receiving.

Forklift Operator/Material Handler  (Full Time)
Location: Fairfield, CA 94533

WB Warehouse is looking for technically skilled candidates with excellent attention to detail for the position of Forklift Operator/Material Handler. Forklift Operator/Material Handlers are responsible for optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency, utilizing forklifts to ensure the proper warehousing of materials, and managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment, among other duties.

Previous forklift operator experience. (3 consistence years)

Forklift Operator/Material Handlers will need to transport valuable items, requiring diligence and good hand-eye coordination.

Hours: 2nd shift is Monday - Friday, 10am - 6:30pm

Forklift Operator/Material Handler Responsibilities:

  • Loading, unloading, staging, and shrink-wrapping warehouse items.
  • Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
  • Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Securing loads to the machine before transportation.
  • Inspecting for damages to vehicles.
  • Lubricating fork truck, recharging batteries or replacing liquefied gas tank.
  • Operating and managing technical equipment.
  • Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
  • Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
  • Identifying workplace safety hazards.
  • Adhering to safety management standards.
  • Adhering to production schedules.

Forklift Operator/Material Handler Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous forklift operator experience. (3 consistence years)
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners.
  • Able to lift 50lbs.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good written and verbal communication.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.21 - $22.21 per hour
