RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides support to the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS), the Community Services Boards (CSB) of Region 3b of Virginia, and the community at large by serving as the regional subject matter expert on geriatric individuals and those living with dementia; provides project management and coordination for the development and implementation of regional initiatives related to increasing access to and obtaining quality services for geriatric and individuals with dementia related diagnoses at risk for hospitalization and/or in need of stepdown services from state hospitalization; partners with CSB staff and acts as liaison to community providers, advocating community-based care in the least restrictive and appropriate care settings.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements
M1: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Vocational Rehabilitation, Counseling, or other approved Human Services degree
OR
Virginia Nursing License (LPN or RN)
M2: Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.
ANNUAL SALARY RANGE
$44,825 - $77,617
5% Increase for Qualified Mental Health Professional
