Greeter and Contact Center Specialist  (Full Time)
Department: Front Office

Greeter and Call Center Hybrid Specialist

Pay: $17 per hour

Schedule: Varies during store hours - Will include weekends in regular schedule

Position Description

This position is a hybrid role between our Greeter and Contact Center Representative.  The employee will work as a Greeter during peak traffic hours and will work in the Contact Center for remaining time.

 Greeter Position Duties

  • Work independently to greet customers face to face in a retail environment.
  • Welcome customers and confidently promote Homemakers non-commission shopping experience with customers.
  • Answer inquiries & assist with problem solving for customers.
  • Direct customers on where to find products throughout the store.
  • Provide basic product knowledge to customers.
  • Connect sales team members with customers who may need their help.

 Contact Center Representative Duties

  • Answer calls and return messages from customers checking the status of their online orders
  • Utilize internal resources to gather requested information or to find a solution/response for the customer.
  • Quote shipment prices. Enter and set up shipments and deliveries.
  • Invite the customer to place an order if interest is shown on specific products
  • Improve product knowledge by studying product information.
  • Navigate homemakers.com to direct customer to information they may be seeking
  • Manage multiple chat sessions at one time
  • Assist in processing service e-mails
