Autism Services Clinical Director  (Full Time)
Department: ABA-Applied Behavior Analysis

Qualifications

·                  Board certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA, BCBA-D)

·                  Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of ABA including comprehensive intervention development and implementation for children and adolescents

·                  Master's Degree in ABA or related field

·                  Minimum of two years direct AT and RBT supervisory experience

·                  Experience training, mentoring and supporting a team in an intensive treatment environment

·                  Passion and focus on the quality of care

·                  Ability to take initiative and lead in an environment of constant change with a strong set of ethics

·                  Ability to give constructive feedback and maintain healthy, productive working relationships

·                  A passion for building positive culture and systems

·                  Strong time-management skills along with flexibility and the ability to prioritize

·                  Demonstrated attention to detail

·                  Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams

·                  Proficient in building treatment programs/protocols in EHR System

·                  Proficient in Data Analysis

·                  Strong understanding of how to approach challenging cases

·                  Proven experience as an inspirational team leader (positive, motivating) that has created a following of talented individuals

·                  Highly skilled in training and development of other clinicians

·                  Exceptional oral and written communication skills

·                  Self-starter that adapts well to change in a fast-paced, minimally structured workplace

·                  Adept to problem-solving, conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace collaboration

·                  Diligent and firm with high ethical standards

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

·                  Directly oversees clinic operations to ensure efficacy and efficiency

·                  Serve as a liaison between the organization, staff, families, community stakeholders, referral sources, health care providers, LME/MCOs, and other payors

·                  Fosters a positive team culture and supports agency culture

·                  Supervises and mentors the Autism Service Team including establishing performance expectations, developing supervision plans, conducting performance evaluations and monitoring program progress and productivity

·                  Collaborates to ensure appropriate staffing levels for the program based on client acuity

·                  Participates in the hiring of BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, and ATs for the program

·                  Coordinates with HR on on-boarding staff and new hire documentation

·                  Establishes shadowing, mentoring and pairing schedule for new hires

·                  Develops and implements training plans for ATs, RBTs, BCaBAs, and entry-level BCBAs 

·                  Oversees the implementation of RBT training curriculum and ensures certifications are obtained in accordance with guidelines of BACB

·                  Keeps abreast of BACB licensure requirements for staff supervision and related documentation, effectively communicates changes and ensures implementation of requirements

·                  Coordinates ongoing continuing education opportunities for clinical staff

·                  Verify that high quality supervision, program management, and professional development is occurring for all clinicians

·                  Monitors and ensures timely completion of effective clinical documentation and data collection

·                  Ensures initial client intakes are conducted in a timely manner

·                  Conduct behavior assessments and facilitate behavior programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

·                  Facilitate parent training and support families during their engagement with TLC

·                  Partner with the Intake & Scheduling departments to promote care management for the individuals served ensuring they have access to many beneficial services in our continuum

·                  Monitors staffing and scheduling to ensure coverage and optimize utilization with Scheduling Specialist

·                  Assist with regular and ongoing quality assurance checks

·                  Assists with implementation of company policies and procedures regarding all clinical and operational processes, including general and HR policies and procedures

·                  Represents the company professionally and ethically to internal and external stakeholders

·                  Manages and directly oversees a small caseload of clients

 

 

Hours/Days of Work:

Schedule determined by needs of the program and agency; Exempt positions may require more than 40 hours per week, including some nights depending upon client needs.
