Licensed Psychologist  (Full Time)
Department: Therapy

Minimum Education/Experience 

Master's degree in Psychology with an emphasis on developmental disabilities and behavior management. Licensure as a Psychological Associate in the state of North Carolina.  Preference is given for work experience in developmental disabilities, pediatrics, or related area. 

Brief Description of Work Performed: 

o   Assessments of autism, cognitive skills, developmental skills, adaptive behavior skills. Also, Comprehensive Clinical Interviews.

o   Assessment of behavior disorders with subsequent development of individual behavior intervention plans.

o   Quarterly review of behavior intervention plans in collaboration with Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).

o   Train staff on implementation of behavior intervention plans and regulations on behavior intervention strategies.

o   Consult with parents regarding behavior intervention strategies at home. 

o   Participate in team meetings for the purpose of developing, monitoring, and updating clients' Individual Service Plans (ISP) 

o   Provide staff/parents with knowledge of normal/abnormal cognitive development, as appropriate.

o   Maintain current and accurate records on each client served.                     

o   Meet regularly with supervising psychologist per licensure rule.

o   Credentialed Medicaid providers preferred.                                              

Pay Rate:  TBD

Salary determined by education and experience, full-time, exempt position; Excellent benefits package includes: medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, paid holidays, PTO, EAP, 403b retirement plan.
