Master's degree in Psychology with an emphasis on developmental disabilities and behavior management. Licensure as a Psychological Associate in the state of North Carolina. Preference is given for work experience in developmental disabilities, pediatrics, or related area.
Assessment of behavior disorders with subsequent development of individual behavior intervention plans.
Quarterly review of behavior intervention plans in collaboration with Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
Train staff on implementation of behavior intervention plans and regulations on behavior intervention strategies.
Consult with parents regarding behavior intervention strategies at home.
Participate in team meetings for the purpose of developing, monitoring, and updating clients' Individual Service Plans (ISP)
Provide staff/parents with knowledge of normal/abnormal cognitive development, as appropriate.
Maintain current and accurate records on each client served.
Meet regularly with supervising psychologist per licensure rule.
Credentialed Medicaid providers preferred.
