JACK'S BUSSER  (Part Time)

STARTING WAGE $ 16.45 PER HOUR

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide assistance to the servers, and the entire server station and communicate with front and back of the house personnel to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. Promotes good customer relations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Include the following (other duties may be assigned):

Obtains assigned station from Manager at start of work shift.

Responsible for knowledge of menu content, ingredients, options, methods of preparation, and special request availability.

Assures prompt service of food and beverage items.

Performs side work before, during and at end of shift.

Maintains stock of workstation, bussing duties as necessary.

Displays ability to keep up with peak period demands.

Communicates with wait staff and manager-on-duty to maintain service efficiency.

Cleans and clears tables.

Provides assistance to the server to ensure prompt removal of all soiled dishes and glassware.

Assures immediate clean up of spills or correction of hazards.

Reports all accidents and/or unsafe conditions to manager-on-duty and Security Department.

Assures compliance with personnel and department policies and procedures.

Performs other general duties as directed by the Front of the House Supervisor.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or GED with restaurant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Three to five related food and beverage front of the house experience in related position; managerial experience required.
