TABLE GAMES DUAL RATE-DEALER (21 Years or Older)  (Full Time)
Department: Table Games

POSITION SUMMARY:

Dealer - Responsible for providing an entertaining, fun atmosphere for guests while dealing Table Games according to the game rules of the particular game being played.

Pit Supervisor - Responsible for the overall conduct of the game according to the rules and regulations set forth by the department and the Gaming Commission on a given shift. Monitors at all times to protect the game from dishonest practice of guest or staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Dealer

Responsible for dealing the games in accordance with gaming policies and procedures, including shuffling cards, placement of bets, correct setting of hands, and making change, etc.

Arrives at designated work station and/or relieves dealer on time. Responsible for being at designated shift in full uniform.

Maintains an orderly table as well as an appropriate game speed in a courteous manner.
Determine winning and losing bets. Pays winning bets and collects losing bets accurately according to appropriate odds.

Demonstrates attentiveness while dealing the game with cards, placement of cards on layout and dealing with guests to ensure protection of the game and maximize the company's assets.

Knows Players Club benefits, property amenities & marketing programs.

Greets all guests immediately with a polite, friendly and sincere welcome; remains calm and attentive, especially during heavy casino activity, demonstrates professional behavior at all times towards guests and co-workers. Acknowledges known and repeat players in a polite, courteous and professional manner.

Encourages eye contact on dead games with guests to encourage play; projects positive body language on live and dead games.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Pit Supervisor

Enforce policies and procedures and make decisions related to the game and pit supervised. Follow guidelines of audit and Gaming Board and the company.

Develop and evaluate dealers, continually.

Supervise replenishment chips & racks.

Prepare required documentation and reports and ensure compliance with Title 31 requirements.

Assist in controlling costs by developing efficient schedules. Facilitate breaks fairly. Provide documentation to Shift Manager regarding disciplinary action and/or attendance of dealers.

Establish amiable relations with guests and staff, and address guest disputes promptly in association with the manager and the director of Table Games. Assist in popularizing and improving quality of games.

Assist in budget planning and reporting daily activities to management.

Other duties as assigned by management.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:

One to three months' related experience and/or training

TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Six months dealing experience with the ability to deal all games, including poker and understand the aspects of each respective game.
