Current openings:

Sustaining Engineer I  (Full Time)
Department: All Openings, Engineering

Provide modeling and drafting support to the Sustaining Engineering department:

·        Produce Drawing Change Incorporations, model updates and Engineering Orders (EO) on current production aircraft in support of production improvements and the resolution of open Corrective Actions.

·        Refer to the drafting room manual to ensure compatibility with Company requirements.

·        Generate and modify 2D and 3D CAD models in the support of drawing and EO release

·        Interact with Quality Inspection, Quality Engineering, Liaison Engineering, Materials & Process Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve issues in production in order to improve efficiency and profitability.

·        Incorporate outstanding Type Design data.

·        Update Piper Specifications, Process Specification, Material Specifications and Purchase Item Approval forms in support of manufacturing improvements.

·        Perform other related duties as required

·        Experience with Siemens Teamcenter and Unigraphics NX software preferred

Additional requirements specific to this position:

·        Requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

·        Candidates shall be capable of working in diverse team environments including interacting with members of multiple engineering groups and manufacturing personnel.
