Position Summary: Motivated and self-starting Sr. Software Integration Engineer. This person will work closely with the avionics and electrical, propulsion and mechanical systems, and flight test teams through the design lifecycle from product conceptualization to service. This role is responsible for the software definition, testing and validation (bench and aircraft), and data analysis of the system
Essential Job Functions:
Education and Experience: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 7+ years of experience in avionics integration with an Integrated Flight Deck. Knowledge of FAA Part 23 certification requirements. Experience with Garmin Integrated Flight Decks Preferred. Experience with aircraft system development, requirements definition, system design, and system integration throughout the product lifecycle. The ability to exhibit strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and project management experience with excellent customer service, communication, documentation, and presentation skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio). Experience in the use of lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers. |
