Back to Category List Available Positions > Job Description Avionics/Electrical Engineer - Lead (Full Time) Position Summary: The Lead Avionics/Electrical Engineer is responsible for providing guidance and direction to the Avionics/Electrical Engineering team. This include the design and integration of electrical and avionics systems in current and proposed new aircraft designs. Review & provide guidance on electrical drawings such as wiring diagrams, harness assemblies, schematics, and installation drawings to assure compliance with FAA regulatory requirements. Provide technical direction and supervision to less experienced engineers and drafters involved in the design of on-aircraft avionics and electrical systems. Essential Job Functions:
Education and Experience: This position requires a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of ten years of experience in avionics/electrical system design, installation and support. A working knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) is necessary to perform the duties of this position.
