Job Status: 40 hours week

Schedule: Flexible hours

Pay: $24-$25/hr

Summary:

Northern Plains Services, Inc. (NPS) Office Manager position is to provide administrative support to the Chairman. This position will specifically be performing a variety of office management & administrative duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities are, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor telephone lines for all of NP businesses.
  • Conduct business research and analysis as directed by any member of the NP executive.
  • Provide executive assistance including scheduling appointments and performing duties on behalf of Chairman.
  • Representing NP in the local community and at marketing and sales shows and events.
  • Supporting the communications department with advertising and publications - especially social media posts and the company's publications.
  • Receives, records, distributes, and prepares mail daily.
  • Responsible for selecting, stocking, and purchasing office supplies as needed.
  • Scan and email documents as needed.
  • File maintenance/archiving.
  • Maintain contact with various employees on Chairmans behalf.
  • Maintain contact with customers.
  • Reply to email, phone, or other inquiries.
  • Organize and schedule appointments and/or meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Proficiency with Microsoft applications is expected.

Ability to work independently.

  • Employee must pay attention to detail, deadline-oriented, maintains strict confidentiality, time management, data entry and positive customer and employee relations.
  • Demonstrates the ability to be organized and work on multiple projects and meet deadlines by setting priorities with work projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid drivers license.

Physical Demands:

  • Be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity and visual acuity needed (use of computer equipment for long periods of time).

Education and Training:

10 Years Administrative Experience.

Must have and maintain an insurable driving status which includes but is not limited to NPR driver provisions.
