Schedule:Varies. 8:00am-4:30pm M-F

Travel:Minimal

Pay:Competitive hourly wage of $25-30 per hour, commensurate with experience (BOE), offering flexibility for upward adjustments based on additional specialization in various IT areas.

Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Manager with expertise in cybersecurity, ERP implementation, and business analysis to join our company. As the IT Manager for Northern Plains Railroad, Inc. (NPR) d.b.a. Northern Plains Rail Services (NPRS) and other affiliated companies, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our digital assets, leading the implementation of our ERP system, and providing strategic insights through business analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities are but are not limited to:

1.Cyber Security Management:

Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the company's digital assets from cyber threats.

Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions for improvement.

Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to proactively mitigate risks.

2.ERP Implementation:

Lead the planning, implementation, and customization of the ERP system to streamline business processes and improve efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, configure system settings, and oversee data migration.

Provide training and support to end-users to ensure smooth adoption and utilization of the ERP system.

3.Business Analysis

Analyze business processes, workflows, and data to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and success criteria.

Generate actionable insights and recommendations through data analysis to support strategic decision-making.

4.IT Infrastructure Management

Oversee the day-to-day operation of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance.

Troubleshoot technical issues, coordinate with vendors, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions.

Manage IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships to maximize value and efficiency.

5.Computer and Governance

Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in cybersecurity and data protection.

Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard sensitive information and ensure data integrity.

Must possess a Valid Drivers License

Must have and maintain an insurable driving status which includes but is not limited to NPR driver provisions.

Education and Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience (5+ Years) in IT Management roles with a focus on cybersecurity and ERP implementation.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica, Foundation, Microsoft Dynamics) and proficiency in system configuration and customization.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or ITIL are a plus.
